Great photos General, wish I could have been there. I've already enjoyed a YouTube video of the event and no doubt more will appear soon.
D1039 Western King is actually D1015 Western Champion in disguise temporarily for the Coronation and so on.
Does your purchase indicate that you actually model a 'murkin railroad or did you just fancy that loco?

Thanks all.
Currently I run a shelf shunting layout which will hopefully be expanded back to form a full British layout.
I have mainly British locomotives and rolling stock, though I have quite a few American plus a few German and a couple of Japanese. This is a mixture steam and diesel.
I wish, that I knew what was doing!

Nice pictures, here is an "American job" my grandfather worked with in 1950s.An ALCO FA unit of the New York Central RR. In a junction in "New" England.

Some great photos - thanks for sharing. Interesting to see the 125s, although I still think you can't beat the classic BR livery.
