Don't worry about it Beany. Most people on this forum are quite happy to not let the facts get in the way of a good story.

Re: Nowhere in particular
Next up is the Walters Sunrise Feed Mill, built O. O. B. Colours are taken from a couple of buildings that I am familiar with.
The extension is a separate which does present a few possiblities.

Re: Nowhere in particular
Nice looking building. I like the more industrial (or agricultural) looking buildings as they instantly add atmosphere and purpose to a scene. I am a big fan of the Metcalfe card kit range for that reason. That Hataka paint set looks great - just the picture of the wall section on the box is a tutorial in painting brickwork in itself - must add that set to my wish list!

Very nice brushwork on the building. I´m getting in to those myself, but In have a long way to go. I´m watching attentively on your progress.

Next to be built is Walters Co-op Storage Shed.
Built O. O. B. And painted to match the Feed Mill above.
Unused so far are the signs.

These are a really fine lot of buildings General. Have you worked out a master plan for putting them all together yet?
The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.

I currently have plans for a shelf layout due to space, though of course have multiple plans for a continuous running layout.

Re: Nowhere in particular
I started ripping up the continuous part of my layout recently to try and do the more grown up end to end running (from a large terminus to a fiddle yard/reversing loop) but immediately missed just being able to send trains running round and round ad nauseum until I was ready to intervene with a station stop or whatever. Now I can't make up my mind whether to re-install the loop or not (I am enjoying the loft space it released and was immediately re-occupied with a large part of my stash.general rocket wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2024, 11:07 pm I currently have plans for a shelf layout due to space, though of course have multiple plans for a continuous running layout.
Building looks great General - really looking forward to seeing this all come together.
