1/72 Trumpeter Mig-29 9.13

Post by Britwit »

Coming soon, I ordered this from a hobby shop in Poland. They have good deals at times and fast shipping. May be here sometime next week. To be done as a Ukraine Mig-29 9.13.

Hobby shop in Poland with fast shopping... 🤔 This would be super-hobby, right? 😉 I can also recommend them, ordered several times to Germany, the delivery time was always on par with German hobby shops.
Are the Ukrainian decals part of the kit or did you order a separate sheet?
I like to carve old kits into something roughly aircraft/tank shaped...

Very nice so far Britwit. Does Trumpeter give you an option to have the intake doors open?

It doesn't say you can but it doesn't say you can't .The kit does have the turbine intake blades. Trumpeter instructions are hit or miss, read between the lines that aren't there. LOL! I find a vivid imagination helps a lot in this hobby!

Ah ok, thanks for the info! :) I've built the Italeri in the past and just recently finished the ICM kit, both 1/72, but would like a more detailed build for next time. Anyway, looking forward to more progress on this build.

Cheers

I find this kit very detailed for 1/72. At least for me it is.

I added the rest of the small parts to the fuselage, painted the wheel wells and built the burner cans. Next I will start masking for paint.
