My dad had one of these. Probably the first car I drove (down to the allotment).
I have not put the wing-mirrors on, they remain in the box.
Dad's was blue too.

Re: Ratch's Diecast Collection
Really interesting Thread Richard. I mainly had Matchbox cars as a kid, although I do remember having a rather nifty car pulling a Glider trailer with glider, and the 007 Lotus Sub.
What I did have was a large collection of Britains farm stuff, including a lot of what you have here and such things as a beach buggy and a Hughes 200 Crop-Duster. I also had a lot of their (to me at the time) fabulous space toys - they were great fun.

Great fun indeed. I wonder whether kids today have such interests, or is it just oldies like ourselves who collect (rather than play)...

Re: Ratch's Diecast Collection
Probably not alas, although my son did collect a huge amount of the diecast cars from Disney's 'Cars' a few years ago - it's about the only thing he's ever been into other than his electronic stuff sadly - oh the joy of Autism.

Corgi 40701 DBD982 Bristol K6A United Counties Bedfordshire
I bought this because United Counties served my village in the 1960s.
The Chronicle & Echo was Northampton's daily evening newspaper.
The 321 and 322 ran between Northampton Derngate bus station and Duston.
