Excellent choice young man. I would be up for this group build too.
I have a plan to do a triple build of F-5 Tigers from Brazil, Chile & Mexico.
There is also a Hunter, A-37 and a Mirage III clogging up my stash.

I’ve an option on 2:
The first from the Cuban pre-Revolutionary era:
Or this from the era of Soviet influence:
Of the 2, the AN-2 is probably going to be the most likely as the Kansan needs an upper fairing and gun turret, both needing designing.

I'm going to build the Airfix F-51D in 1/72 scale, using the Fuerza Aérea de República Dominicana decals in the box.

I only have one kit in my stash with Latin American decals in it - a 1/48 Encore/Revell/ProModeler A-37B with Dominican AF markings.

I'll play, with this Italeri MB326k in Brazilian markings.
I might have time for an Argentine A4P from Airfix dogfight double.
Cheers Howard

Re: Latin/South American GB ** FORUM OPEN!**
That should look great Britwit and you can't fault the Eduard MiG-21 kits.
I'm hoping this GB will rekindle my mojo which has been missing of late. Actually I've not done any model making this year for reasons I won't go into but I will have a crack at this as I've wanted to do a Brazillian F-5 for a while now & as I'm at it I will throw in a two seat F-5F of the Mexican air force at the same time.
I will post some prelim pics later today.

Re: Latin/South American GB ** FORUM OPEN!**
Thanks, the F-5 is an excellent choice! Their last hurrah was Korea. Or was it that S American "soccer war"? Will be watching that build. OOOPPPSSSs- my bad, got F-5 confused with F-51. F-5 was Northrop jet, DUH.....senior moment!
