"On Freedom's Wings" Bomber County Gateway Appeal
I was given a recent cutting from the Daily Express by my Mother-in-Law, as she (rightly) thought I'd be interested in it. The cutting concerns an appeal to raise money to install a life-size Lancaster artwork on the border between Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
I have no connection with this appeal, other than that I have donated to it, but thought it may be of interest to others on here who like me had not yet heard about it. I'm also considering making a 1/72 diorama based on the proposed memorial

Now that really puts the so-called ‘Angel of the North’ to utter shame. What a brilliant memorial!
