Yes. Spare the Herc from any viscious harm. You can salvage this bird. just need to decompress and use your mantra.

Re: Stuart's RAF C-130K/C1 (Italeri 1/72)
Okay Gents, as you might have read on my WW thread, I tried to remove the windscreen to get to the IP and broke it in the process - sufficed to say the thing took a SHORT flight that didn't end well. As I've said elsewhere, there was so much with that build that I wasn't happy with I'm not sad about it's demise, as I know I can do better - so I've stripped off the resin engines etc and have consigned it to the wheelie bin of doom. If nothing else, it was some useful experience in building large multi-engined kits.
What I have done though is ordered a replacement kit so I can continue with the GB, so work will resume when it arrives. I'll probably not get it finished before the GB ends, but at least I will have a C-130 on the shelf at some point!
Cheers!

Sorry to hear that. I'm totally stalled on mine.
Who was the daft so and so who suggested this GB then?
Better luck next time.

No worries about being stalled David, don't worry if you don't finish for the GB, I probably won't either. TBH I'd rather take my time and do a nice job than rush it.

Better off to start off on the right foot! What kit are you building? Still a 1/72 kit?
1964-2024- too many years, too many glue fumes!

I am, another 1/72 Italeri kit, although I have to admit that I'm stalled on it. I've got all the interior cockpit and undercarriage parts build up, I've not worked up the enthusiasm to start painting. It's certainly not going to be done by the end of the week.
