This is how it looks now, although it is quite close it isn't close enough to risk spoiling it so I have decided to call it a day now and finish this model soon outside the GB.

Right now it's got a kind of rat-rod look going. I'd be tempted to leave it like that.... :P

Looking forward to seeing it finished. You've inspired me to give balsa wood a hit at some stage for some non-kitted Vickers flying boats - scratchbuilding from wood looks less scary now that I've watched your build.
