Thanks for the kind words gents but its not as tidy a job as I would like  , maybe one day I'll have another crack at this kit as I'd like to do the FAA option as a nice companion to my Swordfish floatplane from last years GB.

Anyways I digress from whats' important; this morning saw the upper wing go on:

And throughout the day I've finished off the upper camo and fitted the cabane and tail struts, plus al the little extra's that adorn the airframe:

One last swipe of yellow is needed on the cowling and then its Klear coats and decal time, I'm certain I can finish on time as long as the decals behave. I'm only relying on the kit decals for the fin flashes and serial codes as I have much better modern replacements in the decal bank for the roundels ( and for the serials if worst comes to worst  )

That is looking great Tom, I did not build this one when it was first released and seeing your model I think as you write it would look very good next to a Swordfish floatplane as well as in the finish you have chosen for your model and as I plan to build a number of Swordfish at some point I may as well get a couple of Sharks to go with them.

That's looking really nice indeed. It's certainly a substantial piece of ironmongery from the Blackburn stables isn't it?

 And disaster strikes, luckily not with the Shark but with my PC; that has now finally given up the ghost. I'm typing this on my phone so at least I can still keep up with everyone but I now have no way to post up photo updates.

The kit will be finished tomorrow but you'll have to take my word for it till some of you see it at Telford.

So after a week of cleaning, dis-assembling, re-assembling and general faffing I finally have a working PC again which means I can upload photo's of the Shark all complete :-D :-D

The old AMT/FROG decals didnt like being disturbed after all this time, even with a coat of microdecal film over the top and you can see that the fin flashes refused to lay flat and actually curled up at the edges. So they need replacing and I didn't even dare risk the serials and Royal Navy lettering. If any one has those decals spare from a better sheet I'd love to add them and bring this up to 100%.

Anyways thanks to Chip for GBL'ing this build, I really enjoyed it and have a fairly unusual model to add to the collection as a result :-D
