A chav refers to one of the worst types of urban youth.
In spite of being unemployed (usually), their benefit-sponging habits and (probably) criminal activities, ensure that they have money to spend on 'gear'. No....not drugs, though they do, but clothing considered by the rest of civilised society to be less than stylish. This clothing maybe actual designer label, but is often cheap nylon rip-off.
Add in a combination of low educational standards and an arrogance unbefitting ability and you have your average chav.

My Beloved climbed up the loft ladder, stuck her head through the hatch and stared at my Stash.

After a minute or so, she went all funny...breathless, red cheeked and then blue lipped.

I think she was Airfixiated.

Funny because my missus went up into our loft and became overcome with excitement and joyously happy to be amongst my stash, almost like she was Revelling in it ...
