The thread for my WW1 A7V has been locked, so it will start off this new venture.
Remember this?

I'd left it to close to my 'paint drying' spot lamp!

I made a rubber mould then cast a resin copy of the cupola from a second model I bought.

Using it and some camo nets to hide a bit of the damage;

I removed the decal cross on the top front grill and hand painted a cross on.

Nice fix to the cupola. I like the painted on cross as well.

When the Frog kits GB ended I'd got to this stage with my Macchi 202;

I had to strip the paint off again and start over. I was doing tan with green botches but the subject was green with tan blotches, and no white on the fuselage nose.
Now it looks like this;

Thank you David.
Another one from the to-be-finished shelf.
This was started during the 'Museum' GB earlier this year. When I stopped it had been sprayed silver and the black trim on the tail parts done.

Whilst getting reference for building, painting and decaling this I've identified at least 8 different schemes on P51s representing this one. Now there is one less; the IWM Duxford one is no more. It has been repainted as Etta Jeanne II MX-V 44-11631

Nice stuff Here, Fred. The macchi really caught my eye. The paint Jon looks very nicely done!

If I ever have another cheap model car on hand I might do another.

I love the camo on the F40! Of course, I think Enzo Ferrari would roll-over in his grave if he ever saw it. Some nice work going on here.
