Just for starters I have sent out booking requests to the following shows for next year:

February 15th - North Devon Model Show

February 21st - Yeovilton Show

July 18th - North Somerset Model Show

I am considering the Poole Vikings show in April as well but need to see how holidays will pan out at work. I am aware that the North Devon Show clash's with Huddersfield but it is a lot closer to me (1 hour instead of 4 hours drive each way) and for a one day show that is an important consideration.

If anyone has any other suggestions then I'll be happy to consider them.

Regards

Tom

Salisbury - 30 May
FAA Yeovilton - 21 February
Poole - is a nice pleasant little show but it is terribly crampt.

I am prepared to write these three in on next years calendar to attend.

Tom,

I've got a feeling that Yeovilton's is during school half-term. If not, I'd like to attend.

regards,

Martin

I had forgotten about the Salisbury show, I'll send out a tentative request in the New Year and see if we can get a table.

Absolutely Martin, it'll be great to see you if you can make it. There will be space for you both behind and on the tables ;-) also if things are run like before then I should have a couple of entry passes for SIG members, I'll let you know if and when I get them.

Regards

Tom

I have now received confirmation of booking for the Yeovilton show on the 21st of February. We have got a stand in the Concord hall underneath the wing of the BAC 221 :-D . I have 4 wristbands available for SIG members (free entry and access for the day) so if you wish to attend and help me man the display send a PM and I can either post the wristband out to you or you can collect it on the day.

Regards

Tom

The SIG is also now a confirmed attendee at the North Devon Model Show on Sunday the 15th of February. I'll make sure that I take plenty of photo's for everyone.

Regards

Tom

With luck I will be there as my wife is working that day, its good news you have a spot in the Concord hall, much better than with the boats and tanks like last time :-D

I hope to catch up with you on the day.

It'll be great to see you Alan  and yes it'll be nice not to have the sounds of King Tigers and Shermans rumbling around the Hall.

Regards

Tom

Now confirmed with two tables for the North Somerset show on July the 12th. There are a couple of spare passes for SIG members available as always on a first come first served basis, PM me if you are interested.

Regards

Tom

Tom: Have you heard anything about Telford? I am assuming you are still on track for having a table. I am tacking these this week, and if you ... will ensure I get on with them and try to bring them up.

According to the IPMS website the SIG is confirmed for Telford, although I have not yet received any information from the organising committee. So yes please Chris  It'll be great to have two variations of the launch on display.

Regards

Tom

I did get both the RAF boats finished. They went to Yeovilton in October on my club table, and will make the trip down for this SIG table in February. At which point the old one I did have will become yours for any other shows you go too Tom.
