Liking the look of this and a great job on the figures.

Will have to pick one of these up sometime.

Thanks Guys.

Progress has been ongoing on this, but I forgot to take any photos, but here is where it stands at the moment:

The red stripes are made from painted tape, and the silver stripes are strips of silver tape.

Next step is to put the decals on.

When I came to put the decals on I realised that the ones for the base and rear fin had a red background, rather than yellow.

Image

To overcome this I have printed out a couple onto decal paper. The problem with the decal paper I use is that the colours are always quite thin, and need to be mounted on a white background, hence the white discs painted on the fin.

Nearly done though.

Finished:

Image

The home made decals on the back fin are not as good as I had hoped, the problem is painting an accurate white oval on which to place them. I am tempted to rub the area down and starting again once I fathom it out, but that can wait for another day.

Image

Image

It is quite a basic kit to build, the thing with these kits it is more about the painting than the building.

Image

Overall I am happy with it, and looks OK next to my other Batman builds.

Zow-eee Batman
To quote the Batman series;

Superintendent Watson: Well, I think this calls for a cup of char at venerable Ireland Yard.
Robin: Char?
Batman: Yes, Robin, a colloquialism for tea.
