1/72 Hasegawa CF-104 417 Sqn RCAF, Cold Lake, Alberta

Post by Marek »

Hi Guys,
this build is an effort for our recent GB Century Fighters.
104732, Canadian Armed Forces
417 Squadron, CFB Cold Lake, Alberta

Hasegawa made a very good effort, I have contributed lots of heavy handling and swearing :). the end result is this little thing. I think, that after making n-th 1/72 Starfighter, I am going to change to 1/48 scale. Things are just not that needy when bigger :).

White, grey, black and red are Life Color and metallic colors are from Tamiya. It is OOB (sans metal seat from Aeroclub) and still detailed well enough not to waste too much in comprehensive PE. Always wanted Canadian NMF starfighter now the GB made it happen.

Build thread is here http://www.uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=317&t=11307

I hope you enjoy this little photo adventure (I like to photo them as much as I like building them, I know, quite crazy)

Hey Marek!
I watched your work on this model. Shading engine plates and decals are great!
Bravo for the the choice of painting - Canadian sign are rare today.
Congratulations!

Two thumbs up sir. The 104 just screams speed.
