Wow ! Many, many good words.
Thnx All ! :-)

To measure the size of the figure will be the best picture. Larger unit is equal to 2 cm, and each of the four sub-steps is equal to 5 mm.

It's time for a next model.
This is MiG-17F / Bilek (1:72) now.

Montage was started in February 2006 ...

The photos are from period 02-04 / 2006.
After 10 years of waiting ... it must be finished ... :-)

Nice one Pawell, a classic Cold War jet, this should make for an interesting build.

Very good work so far. I am very impressed with that instrument panel. How did you do it?

Hi Tonto,

Instruments on the panels are with convex border lines.

Image

Image

At the beginning these parts were painted on basic colours (using acrylic paints - black, or grey).

In the next step black paint was used for filling black details between instrument's borders into grey painted panels.

Convex lines were highlited using technique "dry brush".
Were used: painbrush ("0" or "00") and Humbrol/Revell silver enamel (not acrylic).

Dry-Brushing, I remember that from painting wargames figures back in the day.

Nice bit of dry brushing Pawell. I prefer enamel paints for dry brushing as they seem to work better than acrylics.

That's true. For that case acrylics are drying too fast ...
