I had a very similar experience when I first saw my future wife. Without expanding upon that I have to say you are doing well so far.

Keep at it. You will do this easily I reckon if you carry on this way.

Work continues... slowly. It may be the damp conditions, but the acrylics are taking forever to dry. Anyway, gives me time for some "detail" work. This is what I chopped up a wing for..



initial dry brushing of thge cockpit detail.. needs more work



and getting the ordinance together.. may go for the bomb option if time is pressing, but let's try rockets for now.

I was feeling bad about this build.. too much time used on too little progress.. and then suddenly everything came together and I took a huge leap forward.

Bloody awful radio program. Meanwhile, some interesting modelling taking part in this thread. I particularly enjoyed the part where it started to look like a plane.

The good news is, it still resembles a plane this morning. A quick coat of Hu106 and then off to work (a very quick coat.. left it a little late to emerge from the pit). Play will resume at 2.30ish, with England throttling Australia in the Test Match as a backdrop.

That's a great looking model so far, and your are right it would have been a shame to hide that gun bay detail, although I would never have been able to do it myself!
