Re: Tanks for the Memories.. Blitz Take 2 **BEGINS 17.00 BST
Looking very good so far. I have noticed a total lack of unhealthy food or booze - what's going on?
Off to bed now so will see how you have progressed over brekky.

Sorry for so few updates.. basically it's just watching paint and washes dry..
The bugger is built, just doing weathering by stages.. (and I should probably put some decals on.. note to self)
I forgot to put a clock in the picture, again.. sorry. It's 2AM and this will likely be the last update for the night.
To sing me to sleep..

Decals on.. they misbehave a wee bit, but copious amounts of decalfix are helping them to settle down..
Once they've dried it'll be time for the last bits of battering and this will be done

Battered kit? Awesome. Even Old Tonto has never eaten a battered kit during a blitz.Arcwelder wrote:

I think, the next time I completely stuff a kit up, I'll have to batter and deep fry it... I'll post photos once I get out of the hospital.flakmonkey wrote:Battered kit? Awesome. Even Old Tonto has never eaten a battered kit during a blitz.Arcwelder wrote:

And let's call it..
I kind of felt that I was cheating this one... it fell together out of the box and thereafter just changed colour, slowly. Not much entertainment for the crowd as I desperately tried to freehand a canopy with decals stuck to my nose and four minutes on the clock.. I'll go over-ambitious for the next one, possibly with some rigging involved..
anyway, thanks for watching and not pointing and laughing too much!

(Just don't chase the forum management for any kind of compensation past a series 1 starter kit)
Oh yeah… nice model by the way. Well done. Despite a lack of battered anything.
This is the kind of thing that happens on UAMF all the while. You can often tell what our members are building by what is attached to their body at any one time.Arcwelder wrote:I desperately tried to freehand a canopy with decals stuck to my nose
