That's a big gun...

Superb work on those tracks - a massive improvement.

I like what you've done with the tracks, that looks like it has worked well. As for your new purchase, the box does say it's 1111.6mm long, that's over 3'7" long in imperial. Overall length in 1:1 would be 80M or 262'
It's only pain, work through it.

You have done wonders with the extra details on the turret and hull - and the solution to the tracks problem IMO is a good one - simple but effective. I suspect that when they are painted hardly anyone will notice. - Add a bit of mud if necessary!

I could not find your tank on the box at first - gulp - even my 1/32 scale models would be dwarfed by that! Incidentally I once saw one of these in 1/35 scale at a model show - it had to be carried in a specially made crate!

I saw a build of the 1/35 scale version online. Insanely big but some really cool builds. I suggested to Canuck2016 that we do a build together. I do the 1/72 scale kit and he do the 1/35. That one was a little too big even for him. He likes his 1/35 and bigger scales but this one would be a bit much. I do wish he would though. He can do that worn heavy metal look so well.

I cannot comprehend the patience required for you to stick all those individual guide horns  It's a shame about the road wheel alignment, but the replacements look spot on, as do the tracks!
I have the Dora in 1/72, and that is big enough for me! The 1/35th version is enormous
Best wishes

Man alive, Paul, the work you have put into that Magach is something else, that really is a class piece of small scale AFV modelling. I would imagine that fantastic looking Dora railway gun will be a beast of a thing even in 1/72nd!

Thanks for the encouragement. I have added the wires on the side of the turret as well as some resin stowage. It probably would not be hung on the tank like this, as you would not wrap it around the support wires like I have done here but I am happy enough with how it looks and it was my easy solution. I used some motor windings to simulate a roll of barbed wire on the basket. Not going to bother trying to simulate the barbs. Too small. You can also see the light guards I have added around the front lights. I just used styrene rod cut to size and formed around a small section of pipe to get a curve.

I used some brass mesh in the Bussell

I made the smoke dischargers. I liked the way these looked on the real tank. This was harder than I thought it was gong to be. I did not have good references on the dischargers proportions and getting the two to sit evenly and at the right angle was a real pain. This was actually my third attempt. It now seems close enough to me and so I am done fiddling with this.

Looking nice an busy!

Almost ready for paint. I am going to work on some stowage for the bussell. I have never been a fan of doing stowage. I like how it looks because it adds so much life to the model. It is just that it is hard to get it to look right and I am not confident in my painting ability with the soft stuff. But I have to start some time so here we go!

This is going to be a tough one to get through. Maybe even tougher to find where to put it afterwards! I don't think my better half would want me to put it on the dining room table.

Most impressive, ‘warsome’ in fact. I’ve done very few armour models but I do feel that adding the ‘clutter’ of human habitation etc does bring some life to the model.

That is a very impressive build enhanced by scratch built items you've made. I'm sure you'll achieve a superb finish on it.
