Thank you, John.

Welcome to all who join. I've narrowed it down a bit but I'll decide in next few days what I'm building.

Another good link for aircraft.

I have posted my build thread and hopefully that will be what gets built (sand filters still to be sourced). I do have a 72nd Abrams and HUMVEE both in the non finished state that may get worked on during this time. They don't qualify as the M1 is mostly built and the HUMVEE is probably 50% but if I have desert sand out, why not.

Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

I had been going to do the Hase 1/48 SLUF for this, but it is a kit that was given to me many moons ago by someone who had kicked the habit and I had forgotten that it had been started. (Some paint in avionics bays, 'pit sides and wheel wells)
Not being sure about the rules on started kits, I got out the Hase 1/72 Intruder...... What's the Hampden ('Hampden Roar' = Score ) with that canopy???? :???: Instead of being split into Windscreen and hood, it is in two halves with the split running down the middle from front to back!!!!

Anyone need decals for French Mirage, Jaguar or Puma or U.S. Huey Cobra? I've got spares from Carpena 72-57 sheet.

Hoping this is going to drag me out of my mojo doldrums. Tried a few simple kits and got nowhere so going to try a more complicated one for this , see if that works. Going to do the bad boy of Desert Storm.........the Scud (fingers crossed)

OK, been away from the modelling desk too long.

Back in with a French Mirage 2000C, the Tamiya reboxing of the Italeri kit.

Purplethistle - argh, I just bought the Carpena 72.54 set to go with the kit; does anyone know if Hannants will take that sort of thing back unused?

It might not be compatible for the 2000 anyway, the decal sheet says it's for a Mirage F1CR.

Here's the rules:
" All UAMF GB's start with un-started kits, unless previously approved by the GBC. In general, kits must be "barely started", preferably not much more than a few bits & pieces relative to the size of the kit. The GB Leader must approve each one and not more than one or two per GB would be appropriate."

So, as far as I am concerned, a bit of paint on some interior parts is acceptable if you want to built your SLUF.
