A little side project, as distraction from working on that dragon. Printed as part of a test series, and cluttering up the bench since then, so I decided to break out the oils.

Thanks. It's an easy to create mixture though, one part burnt sienna, two parts ochre, and depending on how dark or light you want it, a lot of white or a whole lot of white (typically, several grades of this).

I've painted the hair of the girl, again with the greyscale preshade, covered with a very thin coat of oils. Raw umber this time, to produce a dark brunette. I'll get a picture once the oils have cured and a shot of varnish has been applied, she's a bit too glossy as it stands.

The Dark Traders have also been getting some attention:

This is the 54mm one, the 25mm figure is getting the same colours, and is moving in lockstep.

Most, if not all, of the person has been painted, now I have to deal with all the cargo that surrounds him. It looks a mess at this point though
Minor annoyance with the 3d printed stuff: it's very easy to do deep undercuts with this tech. That doesn't necessarily imply being reachable with a brush. There's been a few puzzles along the way along the lines of "how am I going to get a brush in there to apply paint", along with a bit of creative fudging.
