I started this kit a year or three ago and was going to finish it a UB-S from the kit decals, but as these promptly disintegrated on contact witrh the wet stuff, the build was put on hold indefinitely. Hence, it will be resurrected for this display.
Here is how it looked before being shelved (notice it is already mounted on a pole which is handy!).

A repaint will obviously be required to lose the invasion stripes if nothing else.


AM resin "Hedgehogs" hastily dry brushed for effect and pushed into place to take the photo




The nice, vacformed rear turret(?) looks like it may need a bit more trimmimg


The usual Revell engines - not much detail but they should be obscured by the prop-blurs hopefully.


Like me, this build will be big and simple, but hopefully pleasing to the eye once finished

Nice! One of the advantages of having to re-paint some of it is that the new paint won't quite match the old - just like the real thing!
