My third Blitz of the month will be the Heller Spitfire XVI.

To speed up the painting I'll be using a Halfords rattlecan for the silver finish.

One hour in and the interior, along with some other parts, have been painted.

I should have some parts stuck together by the next update. Meanwhile here's the next tune, introduced by a certain Sid Snot.

That's what I thought OT.

Two and a half hours in and the fuselage has been closed up and the wings fitted.

It looks like I'll need a bit of filler but overall the fit is very good.

Back to the rocking now with a bit of Dio.

Four hours in and filling and sanding is under way. It shouldn't take too long.

Thanks Fred. Filling and sanding complete and a partial coat of grey primer.

I'll probably post one more update this evening and get back to it tomorrow morning.

There was a bit more filling and sanding than I thought but it is done now and a couple more coats of grey primer applied.

The prop has been assembled and undercarriage parts painted.
