Re: iggie's modelling table
Thanks Howard and Andy
The work truck has moved on a bit: there are a lot of very small and/or fiddly parts involved in the chassis and engine, most of which won't be visible once the body goes on
The wheels are made up of seven 'rings', each with a tread pattern 0n the outside edge, which in turn entrap the centre wheel rim. Effective, but a lot of work in each one!

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Re: iggie's modelling table
Great work with the Herc gunship, Jim, the finish looks spot on to me - i.e. properly menacing! That German Army work truck is a very interesting subject and the sort of thing I like to build as an alternative to a diet of AFV's. I look forward to seeing the build progress.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Liking the look of that truck.

Nice work on your herc. The truck chassis looks really great too. At this stage it looks like you can go all Mad Max with it.

The Hercules is big! Looks super Jim - and a quick build too.
The Wekstatwagon will be an interesting change - not seen one of these before but there will be numerous opportunities for interesting details.

The wood effect is outstanding. The seat is a little gem.

Thank you LM and Stuart
Tonight's effort was to make a start on the tools and equipment...

Good grief!
Mind-boggling fiddliness abounds! 7 layers to the truck wheels! Aaaargh!
But love that seat!
..and the big gunship, of course!
Cheers,
David

Great little workshop and the seat, as others said, quite outstanding!
