Excellent work on the Aerosan Jim and I like the rust experiment, I may have to add that to my list of "Things To Muck About With".
Shame about the Matilda but I'm sure we've all done it, I personally have a small Russian tank that I cannot bear the sight of even after scratch building an interior.

Thanks again for the kind thoughts folks!

I've decided on a mojo reboot, with this as the subject:

Since taking these, I've added a coat of AK 'Aluminium' metallic paste and a clear gloss varnish. Decals will go on later, along with the prop. I need to make a wood base for it too
Best wishes

Jim

Good call on building a Spitfire for a mojo boost Jim. Looking good already.
What's the MK22 kit like as it's one I've built yet?
Best wishes

You haven't hung around with that one.

It's not bad on the whole, there is a little bit of flash on some parts, and some of the sprue attachment points are a bit bulky, not otherwise it goes together fairly well. It pays to sand the outer faces of the cockpit frames a little, to reduce their overall width or getting the fuselage to fit together is a bit tricky

Mojo rebooted!
The Spitfire did its job on the whole, and got me out of the hole I felt I was in. Lesson learned: don't build tanks with straight demarcation lines on camouflage schemes!

The Spitfire was finished this evening (albeit some stencils didn't get used ;-) ) and stuck on a stick...

Looks good Jim. I may have to treat myself to one. I have a thing about single colour Spitfires.
Glad your mojo has been restored.
Best wishes
