My first build for this GB will be this:


Well, technically speaking, it'll be the BBMF's Spitfire PS915, which currently wears the same markings.

Chosen kit is this:

My girlfriend got me this one for Christmas a couple of years ago, and somehow I've managed not to build it yet!

I've heard it's a nice kit, too, so I'm looking forward to it.

Top choice Daren and it is a very nice kit.

That is one of the better kits from the early batches after Hornby took over. The open canopy option lends itself to a Eduard zoom set that enhances the build.

I'll get her out of the loft next week to prepare for the build!

Sad to say I haven't touched either of my two Spitfire builds lately. Been too tied up with work and building the utter pig that is the Airfix 1/24th scale Hurricane I was asked to do for a friend.

I will try to at least get this one started this week.

Sorry chaps, I can't see me getting a start on this one this week, for a number of reasons.

I'll have to rethink what to do for this GB.
