At least it won't be a Mig......or will it? :-D :-D
As much as I tried I couldn't find even the most tenuous connection.

Although I could just put RAF roundels on and hope nobody noticed

I've been talking about the RAF Regiment, but of course that is wrong for the 'tween wars period - they were just the RAF Armoured Car Companies. Anyway, I plan to do a couple of these -- one from the 20's and another from the 30's -- which will mirror my selection of aircraft.

Before anyone asks, I am not going into the whole Rolls/Fordson body/chassis thing -- consider them representative.

I haven't participated in a GB here yet, but I think this would be the perfect time for me to have a go (with it being a 3 month GB as well).

Our club here in Canberra will be doing a 100 Years of RAF display at our competition in November. I am hoping to contribute some new builds for it. I am thinking a Vulcan or Victor at this stage.

So is it just a case of starting a thread when the GB starts here like on other forums?

Yes, Ray, you've got it right and welcome aboard! Once the main GB thread section is posted up you will be able to open an individual build thread in it with your build to start on the appropriate GB start date. Usually the GB sections are posted up a few days before the actual start to allow for participants to introduce their builds if they wish and to get a bit of discussion going. For the time being just keep an eye on the GB section of the forum for the RAF 100 GB being posted up.

Best wishes
