One word solution - shed (although being Arizona would would need to be insulated and air conditioned).

Jury duty finished up the middle of last week. Seems like it took longer than it should have being a civil suit case, but it entailed millions of dollars loaned out by an individual for a couple of apartment buildings and the intent was to fix them up, operate them, and sell them for a profit. Sounds like a good plan but it turns out this was shortly before the recession hit....and it got messy from there! The operations were losing more money than what was coming in and went into default. Anyway, the lender was looking to get her money back, and her original partners with whom she had a successful history in previous ventures with passed away and the poor schmuck (son in law of the deceased partner) who had signed the operating agreement was third in line for her efforts. It was very messy. Turned out to be far more complicated than we jurors had initially thought. In the end, we came to a unanimous verdict based on one short email that made us find in favor of that poor schmuck who was on the hook for something he could never have paid back in three lifetimes. I don't look forward to doing this again anytime soon!

Financial cases are often very complex to get to the bottom of.

(I'm an accountant by profession).
