I'll be interested in seeing how you get on
You and me both! I've heard good things about the EZ line, I've got 4 biplanes in my stash so may be worth investing it in.

I'll keep you updated on my bench window.

@Ian - thanks for all the help, I'm looking forward to cracking on with it. I just need to get myself a hand drill (I think my 240v hammer drill may be over kill) and the smallest drill bit in the world.

I've got a Bosch IXO http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-3-6V-Cord ... crewdriver; coupled to one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250890099448? ... 1497.l2649; as I have arthritis in my hands and using a pin vice can be very wearing if doing a lot of drilling.

If you have problems holding things for a while that's a winning idea, Toby.
One to keep in mind for the (hopefully) distant future.

Hmmm Ian, this is something I really need, having no drill or anything to make holes... I might just order these too.

You know you just slide the clear (front) part to the right? Then the bits slip out through the hole at the top. (Sorry if you know this and you still had problems).

Thanks. I eventually sussed it after trying not to smash it to bits. I've now put some silicone lubricant on the rails to make it slide easier.

I expect you really needed a drill to get the drill bits out of the packing - that's usually the problem! :ha:

Ian, they should put you on commission!

Good box-of-bits opening tips, I could see myself smashing the box to bits trying to get in to it!

Just need to touch up some paintwork and it's done!

The BUFF looks great (and better without the chains in his face). Shiny and massive. :)

Excellent Ian. The BUFF is hard to beat for sheer presence on the workbench 8-)
