Re: Ians Bench
Woohoo! And what do I win?
I love the Sea Vixen, an all time favorite - funny then that I've not built one!
2015 or 2016?

Re: Ians Bench
Last completion of 2013. I'm just a bit late posting it. Revell 1:48 Cobra. I borrowed the Marine scheme from Sissels build as it's a darned sight more attractive than the all-over sand scheme this came with.
Sorry there were no 'in progress' pics but this was another kit built in the office during lunch breaks.
Special thanks to Sissel for the scheme photos from her Super Cobra.

Re: Ians Bench
You can build model in the office during lunch breaks?
Lucky man!
Lucky man!
Sometimes the talent consists exactly in that: try five dozen times when others stop at three dozen...! (F.Labelle)
I think that modeling is a subtle mix of zen philosophy and absolute crazyness - but in my case I would not dare to specify the respective percentage of each......

Very nice Ian, I do like this kit (although I built the less attractive all over sand scheme... ).

Thanks guys.
And Mark, I suspect your model looks far, far better than mine does.

My favorite Cobra scheme.

Nicely done. The two bladed rotor is a bonus when it comes to display, just align them forwards and back

Can I go and work there?giulio_gobbi wrote:You can build model in the office during lunch breaks?
Lucky man!
If I did that here at work people would keep asking what I was doing and I would get no work done at all. Some of the people I work with would not be able to get their heads around this hobby of ours

Re: Ians Bench
Ugh. Most times when modelling is mentioned, people are thinking of overly anorexic 'models' being photographed. Never before have I had such an urge to rage quit because of it.bilby1968 wrote:Can I go and work there?giulio_gobbi wrote:You can build model in the office during lunch breaks?
