That's some great engine detail on the PZL.
The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.

Re: Spaceowl's Roost
I've been away from things for a few weeks, mainly down to staff cover at work; it looks like it's plague season again .
To get back into the swing, I'm going to do a small quick build before the Herk GB starts, in this case a Tamiya FW-190a3 I got for Christmas. It's a lovely kit - Tamiya don't do lot of 1/72 but what they do do, they do well - and I don't anticipate it taking a long time to do.
I already have a Wurger in 1/72, in this case the old Matchbox kit, but I've found an interesting reference to the postwar scheme they wore which I think might look quite striking. To quote:
The 5th Fighter Regiment was organized into four Filos (squadrons) nicknamed Sarybas (blondes), Karabas (brunettes), Albas (redheads), and Akbas (grey-haired). The Fw-190 pilots painted the propeller spinners in their Filo’s appropriate “hair color”. Beginning in the late autumn of 1945, the Fw-190s were repainted into all-around OD green.
There's some blurry photos, but you can't see much and a small amount of imagination is going to be involved.
In the meantime, here's the completed cockpit. A bit blurry, but it is very small:
