Thanks Mav. I have enjoyed it actually, still sad there's no RAF Harriers. Or Royal Navy!!. However the decals I ordered for the GR.7/9 and 1 Squadron have arrived so I'll sort out which one I want and on we go. I've left off the extended refuelling probe until everything is done as I know I'll knock it off!.Maverick231 wrote:Wow Mark that looks fantastic!

I agree Mark but I'm not going into that as I could drone on for hours about what a huge mistake they had made.
I've been working on the T.12 over the last 2 nights as a mojo restorer, Barriers happen to be a major help towards me regaining my mojo.
All that's left to do is the antenna, decals on the nose section and the nose glass.

Awesome update Mark!
That is the same way I'm building my Airfix GR. 7 just with a few alternate weapons I think.
Looking forward to more updates Kit and I saw your post about the Cosford Sea Harrier!

Re: VTOL SB - 10th December 2017 - 10th December 2018
Well after diving in head first to the RAF 100 GB I decided it was about time I restarted the Harrier GR.7 that I built the weapons for back in December, so when I picked up on the build again the cockpit was complete and glued into the left half of the fuselage, I've not fused the 2 halves together and sanded and shaved the joins.
On first glance it looks like I have made the mistake of leaving the inside of the intakes but I did this so my next steps on the build would be to prime and paint the fuselage, gear bays, airbrake bay and engine fan/inside of the air intakes and then glue them all in ready for the wings to go on.
Here she is sat in the middle of her sisters:
RAF Harrier's: GR.9, GR.7, GR.3, T.10, T.4,
Royal Navy Harrier's: GR.3 & FRS.1
US Marines Harrier AV-8A
Other:
Not really sure what to call this one yet but I got the "Big One" From MatkyM607 and god what a job he's done on her!
Thanks again Mark this ones for you:

Oh Man, that's awesome!!, really put a smile on my face today!. Thanks Mav. I think the name I came up with for it was the 'Atmos' from Atmosphere as it was based on the M-55 Mystic, which was a Russian high altitude weather and air sampling aircraft (allegedly!!). Of course now it's in your care you can name it whatever you want!. I'll take the praise 'what a job' but I always thought it was a bit rough!!Maverick231 wrote:Well after diving in head first to the RAF 100 GB I decided it was about time I restarted the Harrier GR.7 that I built the weapons for back in December, so when I picked up on the build again the cockpit was complete and glued into the left half of the fuselage, I've not fused the 2 halves together and sanded and shaved the joins.

Oh and if anyone wonders what it has to do with Harriers, the main body is from a Hasegawa Sea Harrier. If you hadn't worked that out already!.

Just a quick update on the GR.7.
Here's the current set up on my bench at the moment:
Note the planned load out above the wings.
The internals have also been inserted:
Pics will be coming later of the wings attached to the fuselage.
