Looks like some sort of washing line at the moment but I'm sure will greatly improve the model

Looking good Shaun, yes you're fitting it the right way round, as I added my additional stowage when the rail was fitted and you're right it was fiddly!

The stowage line is looking good.

You have straps, so the stuff doesn't look glued on, and the big tarp has a goodly amount of sag.

With a good paint job, it's going to look great.

Many thanks folks, your comments are greatly appreciated. I've been gluing more stuff on the other rail today and hopefully the next pics I post will show you the rails in place on the hull.

Nice work on the stowage rails Shaun. The foil tarp looks great.

I really like that tarp: what a good idea and original source of material! That is real modelling - using something which costs very little and imagination to turn it into something completely different.

Many thanks, boys. I always keep an eye out for stuff like packaging material that might come in handy, LM and I never throw anything away so I have containers dotted around the workbench containing amongst other things, off-cuts of plastic card, plastic packaging, foil from wine bottles and coffee tins, "handy" lengths of sprue for heat stretching, wire, left over PE sprue and bits, you get the picture!

So, the Crusader now has its completed stowage racks aboard and I also rebuilt the co-axial machine gun, that I'd clumsily managed to damage, whilst I was at it with a couple of sizes of plastic tubing:

Time now to commence painting I think!

Thanks for looking.
