Looks the part, Syd and I'm sure you'll make the best out of this kit.

Re: Honda cb1300
thanks Shaun i have done some more work to the bike, i have brush painted the air box cover and the bottom of the side panels i air brushed the frame i have now got the engine in and the frame together along with the scratch built rear shocks the next job is to fill the seam running the lenth of the tank then sand and paint not really looking forward to the masking
in this photo you can see the seam i have sanded it out a little so the filler will have something to hold on to

Re: Honda cb1300
Wow that is coming together really nicely, Syd. The CB1300 is a great looking bike and although it is a modern machine it has a brutish old skool charm about it.

Re: Honda cb1300
thanks Shaun i have now finished the Honda, the parts went together well and there was not a lot of clean up to do they was crisply moulded with a decent amount of detail in them, the thing i did not like about this kit is the way Fujimi produced it with the frame swing arm tank side panel air box and shocks all moulded together in two parts, it will be a long time if ever i do another Fujimi motorcycle, i have put hex. headed rivets on the engine photo etch brake discs and chain guard, i scratch built the rear shocks and cable guides for the front brake hoses and speedo cable, i also put some self adhesive leather look cloth on the seat.
in this [hoto you can see the rear shock and the cable guides

It might not have been a lot of fun to build, Syd, but you've made a fine job of it nevertheless.

You are very good at giving people the yearning.
I wish, that I knew what was doing!

All that needs is scale dead bugs and scraped pegs. It's a beauty. Only this morning I was saying I would like another bike and now I see this. Aaaagh.
