Panzerkampfwagen II AUSF.A1/A2/A3 (SD.KFZ.1W1)

Post by splash »

This has been a very quick enjoyable build of the Panzerkampfwagen II kit by IBG Models , the kit came with issue two of the “the World at War” magazine.

Although the kit is of the simple build style, it comes with very small detailed parts like individual tools.

Been modelling for years, still learning . . . .
Model kits are meant to be assembled . . . . . . . . . . eventually.

That is a great build, Alan, but I can't help but think about how it really looks more like a Panzer I with a Panzer II's turret! The weathering and rust look great.

That is a seriously good looking Panzer II, Alan, with lovely detail that your painting has brought out a treat. Separate tools on a braille scale armour kit are a good thing, despite their tiny size and IMHO are so much better than the bad old days of all the pioneer tools, jacks, jerrycans and what have you being moulded to the hull.
