I don't have an account with post image. I just post images via the thing on here. Where the Images go or what happens to them I have no idea

Thanks Jeff,

What a pain to change ORG to CC. I was able to change one set of photos but others say "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image."

:nopix

Did anyone get this error message and know how to correct this? Does it mean that you have to upload the photos and change the size from for

example Screen 17" to Screen 15" or thumbnails??

Hi Michael. I had a couple like that because I changed the wrong portion. Make sure you make the change in the [IMG] part. Once you do a few it’s a snap. I just had to slow down.

Thanks Jeff, I just change a post of photos. I change the ORG to CC after the {IMG}. But there is two spots that have .ORG in the code.

It does not seem to need to change the first .ORG but just the second? I am i correct in this? Or do have to change both?

Also will they change their website back to ORG at some point in the future?

All I had to do was change the second.

Yes, you are right, Thanks Jeff.

This is taking a long time to change all of this code!

My bad, to be more clear let me try this again, with color.

In your post, go into EDIT mode.

You'll have a line looking something like this for each image: (I changed ][ to }{ and made .org bold)
{url=https://postimages.org/}{img}https://s9.postimg.org/nmdgyd4i7/IMGP8679.jpg{/img}{/url}

Just change .org to .cc, as shown, in each and save.

Thanks John, good explanation. I notice if miss one of

The photo in your post it will give you an error message

About the dimension of all the photo! So you have make

Sure you change all of them! I used copy and paste to

The second ORG to CC you don’t have to change the

First ORG in the codes of the photos to work. I was able

to edit all my photos in my workbench thread very easily

with time. I suggest to listen to music while doing this

as it is boring and repetitive! Wish Photo Img could

Change all automatically! I just hope it does not change

Back to ORG after all this work! Glad we do not have

Upload all the photo again that would be daunting!!

Yes, Michael, you are absolutely correct -- if you have one link wrong, the dreaded "cannot determine size of image" appears for all in that post. If you've missed one out of a dozen it isn't very helpful for finding the only incorrect one - I've wasted a number of hours of my life over that.

Thanks for the info John and this is easy to do although a bit of a pain - hopefully Postimage won't make any further little alterations! As far as I can tell I've reconfigured all of my photos on the Postimage domain.

Can someone advise how I find all mine easily on their domain. I don't visit them and don't know if or how I could gave a account there. All I do is use the link in the thread when I post an update and select images to show on here. I never go anywhere else or do anything other than that. As far as I know the images go somewhere into a black hole that I don't know about thereafter.

All you need to do is go into your posts here and edit the the address for each picture as Mr Ratz pointed out. It's a bit tedious but it works.

I hope that helps.

I think I've now done all my PI ones thanks to John's workaround (cheers John)

And I think I've now got all my PB ones working (without paying them) with a similar workaround.

Well, all except locked threads obviously.

What a pain! Thank God I haven't got a Workbench thread, that could take a while!

Thanks again John,

Regards,

I'm hoping to get access to the database shortly at which point I may be able to implement a forum wide fix. In the meantime I suggest anyone wishing to fix their links Ii. Their current threads first.
