Tamiya Mk III/IV Matilda

Post by Stamford »

Tamiya Matilda mk III/IV. Lovely kit completed and painted accoriding to the instructions. I did delve into the world of Caunter and Dazzle camo which was very interesting and led me to getting a nice Dazzle Ship poster -and a book on Vorticist artwork - but was of less help in determining which colours to paint the model! A really well enginered kit this and I even managed to get Burt Reynolds to captain Stamfords queen of the desert.

Nice build - gotta love that Caunter scheme! Is this 1/35 or 1/48 scale?

Nice Matilda. I would have thought that Roberts as played by Sean Connery in The Hill (1965) would have helmed it till he ended up in the Glasshouse.
