The Large Model Aircraft Association held their annual rally at Cosford Aerospace Museum yesterday (8/7/14), heres a small selection of what was on display.
First off, the V force.
A Fokker Dr1, complete with Richard Dastardly.
Did not appear to be any serious damage to my untutored eye.
A few early fighters.
Airliners.
Hawks
Bombers.
Didn't unfortunately see this one flying.
Hope these where of some interest.

Wow! Nice flying models. I especially like that 'Connie'.

Some fantastic looking models there. Do they sound as realistic as they look?

Completely agree about the Connie, is it the most beautiful airliner ever built.
The realism of the sound varies with the type of engine. Every type was used, from screw propelled with electric motor, "glorified lawnmower" engine, radial engines and proper jet engines.
The Vulcan sounds nice, but doesn't set off car alarms.

Not sure how I missed these first time around - thank you for posting.
It is often very hard to tell these are not the "real thing" in many of the in-flight photos, but what I have to love is the photos (right after the Connie) of the guy laying under the wing working on his plane !!!

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.
