Latin Americian GB
hello does anyone else like the idea of having a Latin American GB (Central and South America) ,it would be open to all types ,air ,military sea ,we could include foreign forces stationed in the area i.e. RAF in Belize i was thinking maybe to run it in spring 2019 but that's up for discussion my possible choice's are Ecuadorian Kfir C2 ,Brazilian F5-E Tiger 11,Cuban Mig 21MF or Argentinian A-4 Skyhawk
thanks Craig

Re: Latin Americian GB
A cracking idea Craig, loads of colourful options from Peruvian Su-22's to Mexican Mil-2.
I'm sure I have an article somewhere entitled 'The one eyed man is King in the land of the blind' all about Latin American air power.
So in case you have not guessed count me in probably with a Mexican F-5 as I have some decals from Aztec.

Re: Latin Americian GB
I somehow didn't see this when it was suggested. Would it have been covered by the Lesser Known Air Forces GB?. If not it sounds interesting. Always wanted to do a Brazilian P-47 if that's not to old!!.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

I am thinking Soccer War.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

Oh yes! I am gradually building the aircraft of Castro’s Cuba. I have, thus far, pre Castro F47, Castro F51, T33 Shooting Star, Sea Fury and MiG29A.

Re: Latin Americian GB
Hi i still like this idea for a group build so i'll give it another try to see if we can get enough interest to run it for 6 or 8 weeks next year(2020) probably from mid april to mid june looking at the calendar slots ,would anyone interested state or restate their interest
Cheers Craig
edit ...if the battle of France GB is going to take place from early May ,I don't mind finding another date slot

Adam gets a Brazillian! - there's a mental image that is hard to get out of your head.IronMan129 wrote:I have Brazilian decals and a few F-5 kits to choose from so put me down as a maybe.
I am very much up for this. I've plenty of F-5's and decals in the stash, probably Mexican & Venezuelan. There is also an AMK Kfir with Colombian & Ecuadorian decals around here somewhere.
Lets get a date sorted.

Re: Latin Americian GB
It is a year today since this Group Build idea was suggested.
As we don't seem to have enough committed for a GB how would people feel about making it a shared build?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a ‘shared build’?
