Rather than put these in my Workbench I thought I would stick these here. Might give me the impetus to get moving on them, sort of a solo GB so to speak.
Hopefully not biting off more than I can chew.

Yeh right iggie
The Mi-22 is
VERY AModel, bags of flash and heavy attachment points.
Clean up started, and to give a sense of size, that's a centimetre scale on the mat below.

Very impressive -that's going to look HUGE when build.
So I'm getting the impression then from this and Darryl's WW that the SIG is low on Soviet models?

Yep, the GB's we have taken part in have been very NATO oriented so we now have to redress the balance

A kind of "art imitates life" scenario?

Would an Aeroflot TU-154 fit the bill?

Latest state of the Mi-22.
Couple of sink marks on cockpit floor hit with PPP.
After sanding turns out they were craters
Nasty join in exhausts treated with homemade filler (Tamiya Xthin + sprue)
Same for intakes. To be sanded once set.
Only adding the walls to cargo area as they are structural and what you are given is totally wrong for an Mi-22 and I don't fancy scratching all the individual stations for an Airborne Command Post. Rear doors will be closed
Trying to convince the tail boom that it WILL meet and stick.
Next job, sand all the bulkheads and floors so that the fuselage halves will close up

Su-24 started.
Cockpit and nose bay in situ. Instructions say to add the nosewheel leg at this stage, now that I've done it I can see that it can be added later. Oh well, just something else to break off, No nose weight is called for but put some in just in case.
Rear bulkhead of cockpit is plain, debating wether or not to add some boxes and cables to busy it up.
Cockpit on MiG-31B started now. pics later
