Space Shuttle Egg.......

From Apollo and Soyuz, to Gerry Anderson, Irwin Allen, Star Wars and Trek to Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and those strange, doe-eyed Japanese school girls...to any model kits you can think of, that only exists in imagination.

Space Shuttle Egg.......

Post by Allan31 »

I've been away from the building desk. After my dad past about a year ago, all his model building tools and kits
I inherited had been just piled on the desk until I found someplace for it.
Well, I cleaned up and packed and put stuff away. I now have a place to work again.

To get my hands working again, I raided the stash and threw this little guy together just before building
the Seaview model in 1/350 scale.

Out of Box, but I thought I'd liven it up with a bit of gold mylar in the cargo bay.

Furnace tape on the bay doors. Most of the decals shattered when wet so many of these came from an extra 1/200 scale space sheet I had.

Fun to be building again, next up is Seaview.
Thanks,
Allan Buttrick

THAT is awesome. Now I want one. Great result.
Sorry to hear about your Dad passing away.

All the best.

Cracking little job.
Another one to add to the wanted list.

Very nicely done
Been modelling for years, still learning . . . .
Model kits are meant to be assembled . . . . . . . . . . eventually.
