Re: (Re)introduce Yourself
Hi all,
I have just formally joined after years of occasionally looking in.
My relationship with Airfix kits is in its 6th decade and long may it continue!
My interests are now mainly radio control WW2 naval vessels (especially those involved in D-Day) and I have converted a fair few of the Airfix stable to this purpose including the RAF Rescue launch.

Re: (Re)introduce Yourself
Hi Frances and welcome. I had thought of trying to RC the Vosper but that was years ago and the gear would have been too big for the model. I suppose with modern micro servos and batteries it would be possible now. Would love to see pics of your models.
All the best.

Re: (Re)introduce Yourself
Hi all I'm Kev or Kevin and I'm 56 yrs old. I live in sunny Lancashire and like a lot of folks I got back into the modelling lark after a long lay off. My interests lie mainly in world war 1&2 British planes in 1/72 scale tho I do deviate from this from time to time for example in my stash I also have the Minicraft 1/350 Titanic which I'm scared of, USS Voyager, 1/72 Revell Concorde (ugh) Apollo Saturn 1/144, HMS Victory and a 1/12 Yamaha Motorcycle etc etc. I'm a hand painter although I did buy an airbrush (as yet unused and likely to remain so). I use enamels as I did try those new fangled acrylics which I hated and soon returned to what I used as a kid Humbrol Enamel. Ok thats enough from me...you dont need my life story.
I stared a century thinking this will never change
As I hesitated, time rushed onwards without me
Too scared to break the spell, too small to take a fall
But the absolute luck is, love is in our hearts!
