What a great day.
What a great day.
I'm so happy, two Chinooks in tandem just flew over at around 500'. My daughter was with me and so I showed her my old Squadron photo with everyone lined up in front of 2 Mk1's. You have to live it to understand it.
It's only pain, work through it.

Sounds a great father/daughter moment.

Well, she kept asking about them and the sound of them is unique, as there were two flying in tandem we didn't get quite the unique "wok wok wok" sound as the gap between the sound on one aircraft was filled in by the sound from the other, hope you understand what I mean. She doesn't know anything about them because she was born many years after I left the RAF.

The key point is did your daughter avoid getting any dripped fluids on her ?

Lol, the two flying over must have had enough ground crew onboard armed with tin cans and the drip rate for the hydraulic systems at the back and for the MGB hoses must have been within permissible limits.
