I've been looking through the stash, There is a Panther and a Banshee in there plus another MiG 15. Seeing the knocked out tank with Wolfhounds on it reminds me of the book About Face by Col David Hackworth recalling his time with the 25th Recon company and the 27th Infantry Regiment ( Wolfhounds) during "The Police Action" where he formed the volunteer Wolfhound Raiders .I'll have to dig it out of the loft again. Keep the inspiration pics coming Daz.

Some cracking pics there, interesting to see the mix of prop and jet. I wonder if I could get my old Airfix B-29 down from the stash for this one?.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!! :lol:

Already got my kit and scheme picked out! It's one I've wanted to do for a long time, so I'm looking forward to this. I'm also thinking of turning it into a diorama, if I can work out how to do it.....

Long ago, MiniArt (I think) announced a Korean War figure set, similar I think to what is at the Memorial on the Mall, but it's not showed yet. My hopes are fading. Here is a link, FWIW: https://www.track-link.com/forums/news_ ... 35050/flat;

Do you think I could do my Airfix HMS Belfast kit for this?. Looking up her service she spent 400+ days offshore from 51 to 52 I think. If not I have a B-29 and possibly a USN jet. :grin:

You need to modify the deck area where the catapult is as that was removed and boats were stored there, other details you would have to look up but I would love to see it

Nifty idea - one would think that, as a preserved ship, there would be a great deal of available history/photos, etc, to enable that conversion.
