That's it now done. Aerial is on, guns are fitted, round side windows done with Glue 'n' Glaze and the undercarriage doors fitted. There are supposed to be very small door hinges fitted but after carrying out a health and safety assessment I decided to leave them off on account of the danger to my eyes when they decide to fly off. Or I couldn't be asked with pfaffing around risking breaking something else.

That looks good: at one time I had planned to build all of the late 1930's RAF bombers, but never got around to the project. Interesting to see one in pre-war markings.

I've gone back to ma favourite subject - Helicopters. This is the Hobby Boss 1:72 SH60-B Seahawk.


I started as usual with building the interior and Hobby Boss I understand don't give a colour call out for the interiors of their smaller models. The Collective levers are also missing so I've based the colour scheme on the Revell 1:48 version and made two completely inaccurate Collectives. They are just there to give an indication of what's supposed to be there. Whilst seatbelts are moulded into the rear crew seats the cockpit seats have nothing so I used Wine bottle foil to replicate these.







Interior doesn't look too bad if I say so myself.

I have the Coast Guard J-Hawk but haven’t looked very close yet.

You´re right. The interior looks very good. But what can you say about that big stack of canisters?

I'm not sure, the cannisters line up with discharge points on the fuselage, I just wonder if they're marker or sonar bouys that are launched out of the side of the aircraft when out hunting.
