Hi all. I used to be known as Eurofighter in the early days of the forum.

I've just started my first build since 2009. A 1/72 Airfix Chipmunk for my Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Collection.

So far I have built the Lancaster, Dakota, Spitfire mkII, 1 Chipmunk and both Hurricanes. All (with the exception of the Spitfire) were built for UAMF group builds pre-2009.

Another theme I like to build are post war RAF display teams.

These are the one's we used but shop around as I can't remember paying £12 a pack. Mind you it was over 10 years ago.

The Chipmunk is all but finished. Just 2 parts to glue in place.

Wow. A great collection Andy. Looking forward to seeing that Meatbox come together. I like dispay team aircraft. Got a few planned. Reds Hawk (the one that hit a boat mast. XX262 iirc) reds and yellowjacks Gnats. Macaws Jet Prov T4. Thunderbirds F16 and Blue Angels Skyhawk. Vintage pair Vampire T11 and lastly a Harvard display team Harvard (Gary Numans aircraft) so a few for me to go at.

Work is slowly progressing on the Meteor. I'm having lots of fitting problems with the cockpit. So far I've had to take about 1.5mm off the sides just to get the fuselage to fit.






So while waiting for glue to set I'll be making a start on this Classic British Kit.
