I lost both Spotty and Snuggles to the same genetic curse within a span of three months, and I don't do all that well in an empty house. As a result, it's time to introduce the new team:

Image

Moppie, on the right, seems to specialise in cute (although that doesn't stop her from batting stuff around the place), while her brother Bengel seems more inclined to the rash and brash stuff, earning him an accident induced trip to the vet's with a most theatrical limp in under a week (while also being very cuddly at times).

They were born sometime in June, so they're still quite young. Time will tell what they evolve into. Whatever the case, things are going to be very lively around here for a while.

That would be the furballs.
I'm going to have to put some limits on that though; savage, near psychotic attacks on that wierd shape beneath the blankets (me while trying to get some sleep) are going to have to end or there will be words.

This is Milo. It's been a while since I did a Blitz but he has previously featured as my Blitz assistant on this forum. He's a very active 12 year old rescued Jack Russell Terrier and he's owned us for over 8 years now ...

He had previously clearly been worked and although we don't work him, we live in a semi-rural area with access to lots of woods and hills and he continues to work himself, both indoors and outdoors, as can be seen from the recent photos below:

Apparently there is another rescue dog out there that also wants to join our pack and whilst we won't have a say in it, Milo will decide whether it's acceptable or not.

My cat Minnie loves to sleep in unattended model boxes - this one with the plastic parts still inside! Doesn't sound comfortable to me, but go figure.

My other cat Katya finds that the Arizona makes for a perfectly good pillow.

That's cats for ya :-D Lovely pair of furkids.
Now the real question is, do they manage to do all of this in a non-destructive way...
