I'm afraid i'm not feeling 'the Love' with these pick and place gadgets guys. Mine wont even lift the smallest parts, and if it does it just drops them again.

I've asked for a refund. Back to square 1. :???:

Mark,
mine was the same until I wiped the ‘sticky’ bit with isopropyl alcohol which cleaned the dust etc off.

Rubbing alcohol. Google is your friend! Try Tamiya acrylic thinners

Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

A pick and Place. Used a lot in jewellery making.
Hobby craft normally stock them.

For very small bits of PE I use a tooth pick with a dampened end for placing on a kit.

Blue-tac on the end of a length of sprue for picking up and placing small flat things or placing of small clear parts like landing light covers. A big lump of blue-tac or its less tacky cousin white-tac for lifting and fitting canopies

I've found nothing better than a wax pencil (Chinagraph), it can be sharpened to create a fine tip, blunted to create a broad tip, picks up PE and larger and is cheaper than the Gucci tool.
Don't buy the paper wound type go for the traditional wooden stick and a pencil sharpener with the large aperture.
