Re: 1:600 scratch build HMS Tilford
That is a little gem, Alan and, from what you've said, it's hardly surprising that I've never heard of this class of vessel. Best of luck with the guard rails on something that small - I'd suggest selecting the x50 lens on your modelling microscope
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: 1:600 scratch build HMS Tilford
The Tilford is off the slipway and now carrying out sea trials, during the Singapore conflict the patrol craft had their pennant numbers removed from the ships side, which was convenient as trying to put them on the side would have been difficult.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Tiny but perfectly formed.

Me, neither! Mind you, I could spend a lot more time at the modelling bench then......

Brilliant scratch build, Alan, it might be smaller than a small thing that has shrunk in the wash but is perfectly formed and nicely enhanced by the display base.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.
