Hong Kong Models - 1/32 Lancaster Nose

Post by chrism »

As requested a few photos. I did not take everything out of its plastic bags, as they are quite tight to get back in.
I will take some more photos another day and update this log. But here is something to whet anyone's intreague

Thanks for that Chris, I'm still fighting the temptation to get one of these as I have the full kit already. That said it would be nice to get this as a practice for the big one and get a feel for fit etc
Best wishes

Doesn't appear that racks, bombs, etc, are included for the portion of the bomb bay, or even the forward portion of the doors ?
I understand that (perhaps) given the roll-around maintenance stand but I keep remembering our Museum Display GB.
Oh, well - thanks for posting.

That's something out of the ordinary, Chris and should build up into a great looking nose section. Plus it comes with a decent looking museum-y type stand instead of just something generic. Thanks for posting.

It would look great on a 1/35 - 1/32 Queen Mary trailer with a Bedford tractor unit. Don't know if any manufacturer makes one though.

I must say, I am tempted, but the price tag was a bit steep. Maybe I should just scratchbuild one in 1/12th scale? . . . . or maybe not. A friend has a large 3D Printer. I wonder if I can tempt him.

THere is a lot to it ... when you examine the parts and detail, plus there is the option of a clear fuselage to show off the detail inside ... and the trolley stand
