Re: Merry Christmas to one and all!
Thanks, Jim,
I daresay it will not be too difficult to have a better year next year. But a certain amount of finger-crossing will not hurt!
All the best to you and family, and all the UAMF family.
Santa will not bring plastic my way this year (it's not that I have been naughty, though I do try ); simply no room in the stash. (He says, bravely).
So life could be worse!
Take care,
David

Re: Merry Christmas to one and all!
A bit late, but "Merry Xmas to all forumites" from me, too.
Looking back on this year makes me have to admit: it was not an easy year for me, but I had worse years than this one!
I´m an oddball that likes to be on his own, most of times, so the required social distancing did hurt me less, than most people. On the other hand: When the first lockdown in March started, the sudden loneliness hit me hard!
But during the past months, I met some people I can rely on, when I need someone to meet, so the 2nd lockdown
in Germany doesnt affect me much! ....actually, it helps me concentrating on the bulk of work I have to do right now!
But I´m very much sure, that it´s goin to be a better year for anyone, in 2021 :-) !
And that´s a great relief, for all of us.

Waiting for the day, when wars for territory will be something to be read about in history books only.

Merry Christmas to one and all.
Re: Merry Christmas to one and all!
Just seen this thread and I can only add my best wishes for the new year as well. There are a few on this Forum who have either had to put up with more than most here or who have long term health issues that makes life hard for them. At least here on this forum they are treated as everyday people (equals if you like) and their problems can be forgotten for a short time. Onwards and upwards for next year.
It's only pain, work through it.

Is it too late to wish you all a happy christmas, well I am. I have been able to enjoy the company of the wifey and four gorgeous daughters and being a postman , I've not had to furlough. So I have not had a particularly hard year compared to many.
I wish you all well and a great chrimbo.
Cheers Howard

As for the shorts, No way!! I don't think the world has done anything nearly bad enough to deserve a view of my hairy legs.
